Wymondham School Reduce Single-Use Plastic Bottles

Wymondham High School requested to remove all single-use plastic bottles from the site and the team at Edwards & Blake has been helping the school to work towards that goal.

In 2017/18 we sold 51,000 plastic bottles here. We have worked with the school to remove all bottled water from sale Monday to Friday and then have a completely plastic bottle free day each Friday. This includes all other drinks in plastic bottles. This will mean 15,000 less plastic bottles entering circulation from now until July. We will be promoting the use of reusable bottles and free drinking water to ensure the students and staff stay hydrated.

Thanks to the Education Marketing Manager, Saduf Salariya for producing some great posters to advertise the project at the site.

The project has been featured in the local newspaper, Eastern Daily Press and you can read the article below.
